Are there any phone apps that are being used on job sites to help with pitch, square footage, etc?
I have an iphone and was wondering if anyone knew of an app that could get me the pitch of a roof. |

I was at an adjustment the other day and the insurance co. rep was using his iPhone for the pitch on the roof; we talked about it for a while but I can't remember what he called the app. (racking my brain) nope I don't remember. I do know they are out there.

I have an iPhone and I found a good App in the Apple App Store. It will tell you the pitch of the roof. Best thing is that it's free. Just do a search for GeoEstimator in the Apple App Store.

When I am on the road, I just use a free bubble level app from Stanley/ Bostitch. It tells you the degrees and you just have to do the math.
